fall-in-maryland

Fall in Maryland is here! I know you see it. Fall is in full swing, crisp mornings, leaves in shades of rust and orange begin to fall and we begin to slowly layer jackets, hats, and more. And as outdoor festivals, walking tours begin to resume, I want to share a few events below taking place during this fall in Maryland.

Events this Fall in Maryland!

Visit a fall harvest festival

Fall festivals & markets are great because they are truly an all in one. Enjoy different activities like animal farm, corn maze, pumpkin picking, cider, and more all in one place at one time.

Pick pumpkins, apples or more

If you’re a lover of farm to table and local produce you’ll love picking your own fruits and veggies from local orchards around the state.

Gaver Farm | Mount Airy

Rock Hill Orchard | Mount Airy

Baughter’s Orchard | Westminster

...bake a pie

After you’ve picked your share of apples, pumpkins, or peaches why not bake a pie? Nice dessert for any fall night.

...or make candy apples

And if apple pie isn’t your thing, why not melt some caramel to dip those delicious apples? Also easy enough to have to kids help dip their own apples.

Everyone thinks summers are the best time for wineries but I would disagree. Strolling through a vineyard with a glass in hand is so much better. Be it spring, summer, or Fall in Maryland we have many wineries and tours to offer.
