The Annual National Cannabis Festival hosted in Washington, DC is a must-attend event. This festival provides daily education and open discussion regarding all current policies and what the future holds. Concluding with a festival in celebration of the progress on cannabis legalisation in D.C.
In its fourth year, lucky us, the festival actually fell on 4/20! The festival takes place on the third Saturday of April at RFK Stadium starting at noon and ending at 8pm. Tickets ranging from $45 on up. One side is lined with food trucks appropriately named the ‘munchie zone’. The front housed the stage for all the performers and DJs for the day. Vendors ranging from live painting stations, hemp products. CBD products, dispensaries, glow blowing stations, education, grow school (yes, this is legal is DC) and so much more. There were even yoga & meditation classes in the Wellness section for those who arrived early. Event-goers relaxed on the grass sleeping, eating, enjoying the sun as music played in the background.
If you missed the festival this year, make a note to shop, eat and listen to good music at the National Cannabis Festival next year. It’s a great way to chill and relax.
