It’s that time of year again –Valentine’s Day. This day gives couples the opportunity to showcase or rather take time to reconnect with each other and express their affections. This can take many forms from sharing Valentine’s Day cards, chocolates, jewelry, flowers, and other special gifts such as a proposal. This may not seem like the most romantic way to celebrate valentine’s day but trust me it is. As the saying goes, “you can’t pour from an empty cup” so take the time to care and love yourself. Take a nice long bath, book an in-home massage, listen to your favorite songs, pour a glass of wine, make yourself a romantic dinner with all your favorites and enjoy yourself.
