$ – MUSA, Modern Caribbean – Don’t be fooled by the outside of this restaurant. Grab brunch at this funky spot that just screams arts and offers delicious mimosas, handcrafted coffee, and a mouthwatering menu. If only these photos were edible.

$ – Eter Rooftop Lounge – Service is very slow here however the view and the food may make up for the delay. If nothing else, grab your girls and have a few drinks and a quick photos session before a night out on the town.

$ – Arya Rooftop Brunch along the beautiful ocean backdrop is what brunch mornings are made of. If you’re a guest of the hotel enjoy the pool with your brunch & drinks.

$ – La Factoria – before or after dinner drinks at this well-known grungy local speakeasy.

Things To Do

We took an entire day to explore as much as we could of Old San Juan. We started early with a guided walking tour and after we hopped around letting our curiosity guide us.

Even with all the food places, we visited while in town we still could not get enough of all the delicious food. So we found an amazing food tasting tour, Old San Juan Food Tour w/ Flavors of San Juan, that took us to the best coffee and chocolate cafes and taught us how to make mofongo. Next time we’ll hit a cocktail tour and maybe a little salsa dancing.

After eating our way throughout San Juan we decided that we had to taste the rum on the Island. So over to Casa Bacardi for a complete tour, rum tasting, and  Mixology Class. And yes, we’re officially Casa Bacardi certified now!

For a little more adventure we hiked El Yunque Rainforest and enjoy the natural slides while the girls braved the cliff jumps before our horseback riding got rained out.

Ended our trip with a Day Trip to Culebra Beach. Party catamaran with food and drinks to an island with fine white sand that meets a beautiful sapphire blue ocean that could calm any racing mind. After that incredible day trip, we completed our night with a Sunset Harbor Boat Ride to toast the end of a wonderful girls’ trip.

My Final Thoughts...

San Juan is the perfect place for any girls trip.

  1. The diversity in activities is sure to ensure that there will be no boring moments
  2. The food…what’s a girls’ trip without endless food and drinks that are delicious?!
  3. The BEACH! And endless rooftop pools. I mean with great weather almost all year round you can surely find me with a cocktail near some body of water.

If you haven’t been yet or you’re in the middle of planning, just know that Puerto Rico is ALWAYS a great idea! Especially for a quick girls trip, bachelorette, or birthday trip. Would you consider Puerto Rico for your next group or girls’ trip? Let me know below.
